On Spigot 1.11 and Updating MineTexas Servers - ataranlen - 11-17-2016
Well folks, it is that time of year again. Time for a major Minecraft update that we won't be upgrading to immediately. This delay is usually to benefit the players and myself from having to deal with new critical issues that typically arrive with such a release.
I've been following the Spigot development team as they have been working on the new 1.11 server, and things are looking great so far: https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/bukkit-craftbukkit-spigot-1-11-released.193887/
I've already compiled the latest spigot and I'm throwing it onto my test server now. Throughout today and the weekend, I'll be checking plugin compatibility across our existing servers as well as updating them as time allows.
Upgrades will be as quick as possible, with a full backup of each server being taken before pushing the new spigot/paper server jar as appropriate and rebooting each server in turn. I'll be updating servers in the order in which they appear below, and progress will be tracked here.
Current 1.11 Upgrade Progress:
Anarchy - Upgraded
PVP
PVE
Hardcore
Skyblock
Arena
Creative
Rivendell
Servers that won't be upgraded for now:
Aberon
Nexus
Project Zombie

will 1.11 include pigmen spawning from portals again?

You're just going to have to be patient on that one. I'm still not sure why they aren't anymore.

Atar, are you going to revert the server back to before the update because quite a few people have lost valuables in deleting shulker boxes?

By that I mean that the shulker boxes, mine included, have deleted items inside them due to some spigot glitch of some sort?

Why don't you report the bug to the spigot devs and let me know what they say?

For some odd reason it took me to a pvp portal spot and i cant get into Anarchy
