Hardly anyone is playing on the hardcore server anymore, during my time alive on the server I saw maybe one or two people play a total of 10 minutes. Both of them were lagging due to the Amplified and I myself lagged into a wall and died. My question is, will the server ever be reset to a non-Amplified version? Oh, and during my time I couldn't find a single enderman... were they taken out? In fact besides my spawners hardly and bad mobs would spawnl.

The amplified terrain doesn't affect the client connecting to the server, chances are that the server was under a lot of stress from another source. As for if it would ever be reset, probably not.
